logo concepts:
Maine chapter of the wildlife society
Here are a few concepts that I came up with for a re-design of the logo for the Maine Chapter of the Wildlife Society. They wanted something that captured the “spirit of Maine” and the wildlife diversity that exists in the state. Hard to capture all that and keep it simple, so I used what are called badge or seal style logos. These are also referred to as crest logos and are used when an organization wants to focus on tradition, history or prestige. They are also useful when multiple visuals are required. They are very flexible in terms of placement on various backgrounds.
A badge style logo featuring some of Maine’s iconic wildlife in a nighttime wetland scene.
Seal style logo again featuring some of Maine’s iconic wildlife. This concept also features the state outline and a compass dial.
