branding Project - ag allies
Ag Allies is an organization dedicated to protecting Maine’s grassland birds through collaboration with private landowners. The primary goal of this program is to preserve and enhance breeding habitat during the nesting season, giving species such as Bobolinks and Eastern Meadowlarks the best possible chance of reproductive success. The project seeks to build lasting conservation partnerships with farmers, emphasizing their role as land stewards and connecting them to the natural resources their land supports.
In anticipation of their 10th field season and further expansion of the program, Ag Allies approached me about doing some branding for them, so that all of their communication platforms would be consistent. I started by getting to know the program better and researching their target audience. I then created a color palette, selected appropriate typography and created a Brand Guidelines booklet. I also updated their logo, keeping it similar to their original logo for consistency. I also helped them to update their printed materials such as flyers, brochures and letterhead, as well as updating their website to reflect the new branding strategy. Please visit their website and learn more about their fantastic work at : www.agallies.org
The newly refreshed logo for Ag Allies. The green was changed to a softer tone in line with the new brand color palette and the font was updated to the new brand font. I moved the organization’s name to the top to make it more visible and eye-catching and straightened the text.
