A fun, but challenging project creating a logo for a Custom Home Builder for another Skillshare class. I created tons of sketches of different ideas for this logo, but many of them seemed to me to be repetitious of what you might see for any home builder or real estate office. I wanted to create something a bit more unique. And then I thought of a door knocker! The Trajan font for the business name worked well to make an engraved or etched look on the door knocker itself, and I paired that with an elegant script font to evoke the feeling of customization and quality.
